Tibetan Representatives in France and Belgium Invited to French Senate

France: Senator Jacqueline Eustache-Brinio, Chair of French Senate Tibet Support Group delivered a report on the recent visit of French Senate delegation to Dharamshala in April at the Senate on Wednesday, 24 May 2023.

Senator Brinio invited Tibetan representatives in France and Brussels consisting of Europe Tibetan parliamentarian Thupten Gyatso, Representative Rigzin Choedon Genkhang, Coordinator Thupten Tsering of Paris Office of Tibet and staff Jigme Dorjee to attend the session at the Senate.

At that time, Representative Genkhang extended gratitude to the French Senate Delegation for visiting Dharamshala to discuss with the Tibetan leadership about their concerns and priorities. She requested members of the Senate to make similar visit to diasporic Tibetan communities in the future. Representative also appealed for the support of the French Senate Tibet Support Group in the re-establishment of Tibet support group in the French National Assembly.
