Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel Meets Indian MP A. D Singh

Dharamshala: Speaker Khenpo Sonam Tenphel paid a courtesy call on Shri A. D Singh, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, RJD, and Shri Daroga Prasad Saroj, Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, Samajwadi Party, in Delhi on 8th November, 2024.

During the meetings, the Speaker apprised them of the critical situation in Tibet, including China’s colonial boarding schools and the forced closure of Tibetan schools, which aims to eradicate Tibet’s identity. The Speaker urged the MPs to raise the Tibet issue in Parliament and support Tibet’s cause, to which they assured their continued support.

He also expressed his gratitude to the Indian government and people for their support for Tibet’s cause and the Tibetan people.
