Parliamentarians Migyur Dorjee and Lobsang Gyatso Sither Call on Chief Minister and Speaker of Kerala State

Parliamentarians Migyur Dorjee and Lobsang Gyatso Sither with the Honourable Chief Minister of Kerala, Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan.

Kerala: Parliamentarians Migyur Dorjee and Lobsang Gyatso Sither, who are in the Kerala city of Thiruvananthapuram for Tibet advocacy, met with Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan, Chief Minister of Kerala on 23 August 2023.

At the meeting, the parliamentarian briefed the Chief Minister on the purpose of the state advocacy program by the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, the dire situation inside Tibet and the Sinicization policies by the Chinese Government in Tibet. The parliamentarians presented him with the official memento and the appeal letter from the Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile.

Parliamentarians Migyur Dorjee and Lobsang Gyatso Sither during the interaction with Shri. A. N. Shamseer, Hon. Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly.

In the afternoon, the parliamentarians met with Shri. A. N. Shamseer, Hon. Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly and shared with him the purpose of the visit and briefed him on the current situation inside Tibet. The parliamentarians presented the Speaker with the official memento and the appeal letter from the Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile. Following the meeting, the protocol officer of the Speaker took the Tibetan Parliamentarians for a visit to the Kerala Assembly.
