Manish Tewari (born on 8 December 1965) is a prominent Indian lawyer and politician. He is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) and represents Anandpur Sahib, Punjab in the 17th Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament. He was the Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting in the UPA Government from 2012 to 2014 and a Member of Parliament from Ludhiana, Punjab from 2009 to 2014. He is a member of  the All Party Indian
Parliamentary Forum for Tibet.
