Anantkumar Hegde (born 20 May 1968) is an Indian politician, agriculturist, horticulturist, businessperson and social worker. He had been elected six times to Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian parliament and is currently a member of the 17th Lok Sabha from Uttara Kannada, Karnataka belonging to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is a former Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship from 3 Sept. 2017 – 25 May 2019. He has been a member of the All Party Indian Parliamentary Forum for Tibet since long.
