Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang Extends Gratitude on Launch of European Parliamentary Friends of Tibet

Dharamshala, 30th January 2025: Dolma Tsering Teykhang, the Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile extended gratitude on the launch of the European Parliamentary Friends of Tibet.

Writing to Professor Dainius Zalimas, Member of the European Parliament and Chair of the European Parliamentary Friend of Tibet, the Deputy Speaker wrote, “On behalf of the Tibetan people and the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and all the esteemed members of the Group for the formal launch of the European Parliamentary Friends of Tibet.”

“This initiative marks a momentous step forward to serve as a strong and influential voice within the European Parliament, advocating for peace, human rights, and the preservation of Tibet’s unique cultural heritage. I believe we can collaborate even more effectively in solving the non-violent struggle of Tibet through Middle Way Policy. The support of each honorable member is of immense value to us.”
