Mikuláš Peksa is a biophysicist, activist and Czech Pirate Party politician. He joined the Czech Pirate Party in 2013 and 2017. He was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic. In 2019, he was elected to the European Parliament and sits as a Member of the Greens/EFA political group. His work focuses on questions related to research, industry, energy, budgetary control and economic affairs. Apart from his committee work, Mr Peksa has also been elected chair of the Tibet Interest Group in the European Parliament and is the chairperson of the European Pirate Party
