Dharamshala: In the evening of October 22nd, a Tibetan Parliamentary delegation, consisting of Tibetan parliamentarians Geshe Atong Rinchen Gyaltsen, Lobsang Gyatso Sither, and Tenzin Choezin, arrived in Bern where they were welcomed by the president of the Bern Tibetan community and several Tibetan community members.

On 23 October 2024, they visited the Swiss Parliament Building. During this visit, MP Barbara Gysi received them and introduced them to the parliament. The parliamentarians introduced the Central Tibetan Administration and presented issues concerning Tibet to MP Gysi. This was followed by a closed-door meeting with the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA).

They presented her with an appeal letter signed by the Speaker of the Parliament-in-Exile.
